Recipe with: ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged

Home-made hamburger with aged cheese

Serve your guests this home-made hamburger with bacon, pepper, salanova lettuce, red onion and melted aged cheese. The addition of ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged adds a strong flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 red chilli
  • ½ garlic glove
  • 150 grams minced beef
  • 10 grams breadcrumbs
  • ½ egg
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ red onion
  • Olive oil
  • 30 grams bacon
  • ½ orange pepper
  • 2 salanova lettuce leaves
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 35 grams ERU Cheese Spread Extra Aged
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Serve your guests this home-made hamburger with bacon, pepper, salanova lettuce, red onion and melted aged cheese. The addition of ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged adds a strong flavour.

Preparation

  • Finely chop the chilli.
  • Peel and crush the garlic.
  • Mix the mince with garlic, chilli, breadcrumbs, egg and paprika powder and make a firm hamburger.
  • Slice the onion into thin rings and fry in the pan.
  • Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Then drain on kitchen paper.
  • Slice the orange pepper into rings and grill for around 10 minutes, turning regularly.
  • Wash the lettuce and pat dry.

Method

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the hamburger.
  • Toast the cut side of the bun on the grill for 1 minute.
  • Place the lettuce leaves on the bun, followed by the pepper, bacon and finally the hamburger.
  • Top with the fried onion.
  • Put ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged on the hamburger.
  • Place the top of the hamburger bun on top and serve.
