BLT Sandwich with grilled corn-fed chicken and melted aged cheese

A classic on the menu: the American BLT Sandwich. Serve your guests this BLT Sandwich with grilled corn-fed chicken and melted aged cheese. The melted aged cheese adds a deliciously strong flavour. Try our other ERU Cheese Spreads too.

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of dark sourdough bread
  • Olive oil
  • 8 slices smoked bacon
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 120 grams ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged
  • 2 Roma tomatoes
  • 40 grams lamb’s lettuce

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
  • Grill the bread.
  • Add some olive oil to the pan and fry the bacon until crispy.
  • Quickly grill the chicken breasts and then bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Method

  • Slice the chicken breasts diagonally.
  • Spread a slice of bread with the ERU Cheese Spread Extra Aged.
  • Top the bread with the tomato and then the chicken breast.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread and serve.
