Recipe with: ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged

Farm fries with pulled pork and extra aged Gouda cheese

Make an impression on your guests with these delicious farm fries with soft pulled pork and a sauce of aged Gouda cheese. The cheese sauce gives this portion of fries a strong flavour. Serve as a side dish or as a delicious snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 spring onion
  • 400 grams procureur
  • 150 ml chicken stock
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 100 ml bbq sauce
  • 2 tbs granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 kg floury potatoes
  • 200 grams ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 100 ml cream

Make an impression on your guests with these delicious farm fries with soft pulled pork and a sauce of aged Gouda cheese. The cheese sauce gives this portion of fries a strong flavour. Serve as a side dish or as a delicious snack.

Preparation

  • Finely chop the onion.
  • Finely slice the spring onion.
  • Mix the meat with the onion and add the chicken stock.
  • Add the smoked paprika powder, thyme, garlic, cayenne pepper, bbq sauce, sugar and mustard to the meat. Leave covered in the oven for 10 hours at 100°C.
  • Preheat the oven to 230°C for the fries.
  • Cut the potatoes into thick chips and arrange on an oven tray lined with baking paper.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and turn. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake the fries in the middle of the oven for around 35 minutes. Turn every 10 minutes.

Method

  • Remove the meat from the oven and pull it apart with 2 forks.
  • Remove the fries from the oven and put on a plate. Arrange the pulled pork over the fries.
  • Mix ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged with the cream and drizzle over the fries.
  • Garnish with the spring onion.
