Toasted sandwich with melted Gouda cheese, halibut and guacamole
This toasted sandwich with melted Gouda cheese, smoked halibut and fresh guacamole is worth a place on the lunch menu. Vary and experiment with the other ERU Cheese Spreads, such as ERU Cheese Spread Gouda Extra Aged for an extra strong flavour.
Preparation
- Spread 4 slices of spelt bread with ERU Cheese Spread Gouda.
- Divide the smoked halibut over the toast.
- Top each with a tablespoon of guacamole.
- Add salt and pepper (to taste).
- Cover with the other slices.
