Casserole of chicken thighs in a creamy cheese-garlic sauce
Spoil your guests with this casserole of chicken thighs covered in a creamy cheese-garlic sauce using ERU Cheese Spread Gouda. The creamy sauce makes a tasty addition and creates an interesting contrast with the garlic and vegetables.
Preparation
- Put the cream in a casserole with garlic, ERU Cheese Spread Gouda and mix with olive oil. Stir until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan and brown the chicken thighs.
- Add the chicken thighs to the garlic-cheese sauce.
- Add the mushrooms, pepper, rosemary and bacon and stir. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
- Remove the foil and serve immediately.
