Crusty roll with blue cheese, green asparagus, pear and walnuts


This bread roll is filled with the classic combination of blue cheese, pear, asparagus and walnuts. The tangy flavour of blue cheese plays off wonderfully against the sweet slices of fresh pear.
Ingredients:
- 4 crusty bread rolls
- 100 grams of ERU Cheese Spread Bleu
- 100 grams of green asparagus
- 2 pears
- 30 grams of walnuts
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and stir fry the green asparagus shoots until they’re tender.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut the pears into thin slices.
Method
- Cut the bread rolls lengthwise and spread them with ERU Cheese Spread Bleu.
- Add layers of pear slices and green asparagus.
- Garnish with walnuts.
