Breakfast chef Sandra vanden Kieboom serves ERU Portion packs on the breakfast buffet at Van der Valk

Sandra vanden Kieboom is breakfast chef at Van der Valk in Deventer. In early 2021, the new Van der Valk hotel opened in Deventer. Van der Valk is a large family-run company in the Netherlands which also has hotels abroad. Van der Valk Deventer is the first energy-neutral and natural gas free Van der Valk hotel and is located in woodlands.

“The hotel has 140 rooms. That means that around 300 people can arrive for breakfast in the morning, all wanting to enjoy a fresh breakfast. We make sure that the extensive breakfast buffet is ready in time and continue filling it up until everyone has finished,” says Ms vanden Kieboom.

Ms vanden Kieboom continues: “Guests can come here for a cup of tea or coffee, milk and various fruit juices. There is a wide range of freshly baked bread with lots of toppings, as well as yogurt and fruit salads. We also offer guests handy portion packs, including ERU portion packs.

“With ERU portion packs, we can always surprise guests with the different flavour variants.”

“With ERU portion packs, we can always surprise guests with the different flavour variants. When people are away from home and staying at Van der Valk, they want luxury and variety. Hygiene also plays an important role on the breakfast buffet, which is why ERU portion packs are so useful,” says Ms vanden Kieboom.
